Domain Name Management
Domain Name Management can mean a lot of things to a lot of people, and for most of our customer, means almost nothing. It's one of those "Technical Phrases" that sounds important but imparts not one clue as to what it really is.
Basically, the domain name is that part of your website address that comes before the ".com" or ".org". When you go to get a "Domain Name", by default the people you purchase it through (lease) will be the "host" for it. That means that they will be the ones you have to go back to when it is time to renew the domain name.
Often a customer will register a domain name for 2 or 3 years, and then forget all about who they got the name through, or they may not even know because an old employee or partner registered the name and they never got the information.
It takes a little digging, but all is not lost. We take the hassle out of this situation for you and provide you with documentation such as the company name it is registered through, the login information and passwords needed to manage it.
